Yearbook Page Remarks by Dary Jacob '05
I
have experienced laughter, tears, joy frustration, fun, so much more,
and of course some learning in these Montrose halls and I can’t
believe I will be leaving them. I have truly enjoyed the past 7 years.
There is not enough room to mention everyone who I want to but I will
give it a try…
Mom &
Dad: How can I ever thank you for everything you have done for me? From
encouraging my love of outdoors to sending me to Montrose to providing
a loving home, you have always been there for me. I love you and what
can I say but “a good time was had by all.” Chapin & Charlie:
We have definitely driven each other crazy sometimes but we’ve shared
some great memories: family vacations, dinners, Vermont, and so many more.
I don’t know what I would have done without you guys. Chapin: You
have really been a great big brother, you have always been there for me
and we’ve spent a lot of great times together. Charlie: I guess
you’re the only one left at home now – Good luck. I’ve
really loved hanging out with you, especially this year. I’ll always
be there for you.
Montourage:
Well, this is it, you guys! I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive,
fun, and completely awesome class! We have so many memories from the last
7 years: trips to Boston, skits, D.C. Trip, birthdays, countless lunches
and dinners, movies, sleepovers, semi-formals and prom, pickle parties,
emails, just hanging out and so much more. I think I have cried on each
one of your shoulders and laughed hysterically about nothing with each
of you. You have really always been there for me. We’ve had a ton
of fun and I’ll really miss you. I can’t thank you enough
for everything you’ve done for me.
Molls: you
have always been such a quiet inspiration. You’re always there when
I need you and we’ve spent some really great times together. You
are such a strong support. There are too many memories to even mention
but I have loved each one of them.
Kelly: Six
years and it’s been great! It’s been awesome spending time
with you are so fun to talk to. I will really miss you next year.
Shan: you
are one of the most loyal people I have ever met and I really admire that.
You have always encouraged us to just relax and have fun. From the visits
to Boston to hanging out in school, it’s been awesome.
Marijka:
you have a story for everything! I just don’t know whose love life
I’ll mooch off of in college. Who knew that study hall would actually
be in the hall? I’ve spent a lot of fun times with you.
Kristin:
you are so hard working and dedicated. We have spent countless hours working
on all kinds of fundraisers. I’ll really miss those times. You are
always able to rally the class to do fun stuff together.
Stalmok:
I can’t believe this is it! We have spent so many awesome times
together there’s no way I can write them all. You have always helped
me relax and given me perspective. I will really miss talking to you,
racing through the hallway and just hanging out.
Al: you’re
always so calm and poised and I really enjoy talking to you. I love your
spontaneity and impulsiveness. You have always been able to cheer me up.
We have shared some awesome memories.
Lisa: it’s
been great having you in our class this year. Your dedication is really
inspiring. We’ve spent some great times together and I’ll
miss you next year.
Maggie: You
brought something unique to our class. I have spent so many afternoons
just talking with you after school. Thanks for putting up with my teasing
all these ears. You have always been so enthusiastic and positive!
Laura: I
still can’t believe you left us for the Triv! We’ve come a
long way from calling each other every night although we still talk for
hours. You have always listened and given great advice. I can’t
even begin to describe all the ways you have inspired me.
Mrs. Elrod,
Miss Mariani, Mrs. Keefe, Dr. Bohlin, Mrs. Lyon, Ms Noble, Dr. Sylvester,
Fr. Joe, Ms Carmona and all of the Montrose faculty: You have helped me
in every aspect of my life and I can’t begin to thank you for that.
I don’t know what I would have done without you. Mrs. McKinney,
you have been an incredible advisor these past four years. I will never
forget our walks around the block. You have always given me great advice
and really helped me become a better person. Ms. Rice: you’ve inspired
me in so many ways! Inside and outside your classes, you have taught me
a lot and have really had a positive impact on my life. Fr. Dick: You’ve
always been there for me. I’m really going to miss popping into
your office in the mornings. You’re the best and the little things
you do always cheer me up.
Montrose:
Thank you for providing me with a great community to learn and grow in
for the past 7 years. Relax and enjoy every moment. I’ll miss you
– Thank you for everything!
