About
Us : Faculty, Staff and Advisors
The
faculty at Montrose School are both instructors and mentors, whose principal
motivation is to educate the whole person.
As an instructor, each teacher helps students to acquire knowledge as
well as the skills and habits of mind necessary to apply that knowledge.
As a mentor, the teacher is a wise and experienced adult who guides each
student as she learns to make choices –sometimes difficult ones.
Teaching goes beyond subject matter at Montrose. It embraces intellectual,
social, professional and character goals.
