The choice of Montrose for our daughters was actually quite simple. We were looking for a single sex school with a rigorous classical liberal arts education in a Catholic environment. Montrose had those attributes and many more.

As a parent founded school, the primacy of the parents is recognized and permeates all aspects of the school. We were impressed by the character formation program, the opportunity for daily mass, the dedication of the faculty and level of parental involvement. It was abundantly clear that Montrose educated the whole person and a Montrose education would enhance our efforts to raise our daughters into responsible, caring and self-sufficient adults.

Montrose is truly a gem. After 12 years of involvement in the school, we can look back on it and realize it was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

We have been very pleased with the passionate teachers and staff at Montrose, the caring environment, and the high academic expectations. The environment is one in which the girls get to know, respect, and like one another across all the grades. We feel that our daughter is encouraged to work hard, is acknowledged for her work, and yet, at the same time, has opportunities to have fun and build relationships with her classmates and teachers.

We chose Montrose for our daughter because we knew its founding mission was to provide an environment where young girls could grow into strong, capable, caring young women.

With an emphasis on Character Education, Montrose is interested in the entire girl, in forming leaders through a strong secular education informed by rich Catholic Tradition.

At Montrose, learning takes place in a personable environment; where knowledge is imparted by dedicated staff members who value the need to instill within the girls a sense of vision; reminding them of the importance of retaining personal integrity and liberty.

This is all done with respect for the role parents have as the primary educators of their children.

Thus far, we think that Montrose has been true to all her promises.
