Record AP Honors

The class of 2015 boasts record number of students who achieve the highest AP Scholar designation.
The most recent Advanced Placement test results showed that the class of 2015 boasted a record five students named AP Scholars with Distinction. Laura Bergemann ‘15, Sarah Morrill ‘15, Katrin O’Grady ‘15, Elle Schirripa ‘15 and Monica Stack ‘15 each earned this highest designation, receiving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on at least five exams.

Sarah Baker ‘15 and Maddie Crump ‘15 were named AP Scholars with Honor, scoring an average of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on at least four exams, and Emily Melville ‘15 was named an AP Scholar, attaining scores of 3 or higher on at least three exams.

In addition, Brigid Bane ‘16 and Emma Frank ‘16 have already achieved AP Scholar status by the end of their junior year, for their outstanding scores on all three AP exams they have taken to date.

Nearly half of the Montrose graduates over the last three years have been awarded the AP Scholar designation.
