Three Athletes Named to the All-NEPSAC Team

Two Montrose seniors and one sophomore are recognized for their volleyball, soccer, and cross country prowess.
The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council announced its fall All-NEPSAC teams earlier this month, naming Annie Irwin '19, Isabelle Heron '19 and Kasey Corra '22 for soccer, volleyball and cross country, respectively. Annie and Isabelle were also named Boston Globe All-Scholastics.

"The volleyball team has been a big part of my career at Montrose," Isabelle said, adding, "It's interesting seeing how one's hard work can change the team but also be acknowledged publicly. I was very excited when I got the news [that I had been named All-NEPSAC]." Kasey also pointed to the role of hard work in her achievement: "I worked really hard over the summer to get in a good place for the season, and I had a really good coach!" Both girls noted how the season had been both rewarding and fun.

Annie Irwin, who previously was named league MVP for soccer, has signed a Letter of Intent to play for Division II Assumption College next year. Find the complete All-Scholastics list here: https://www.bostonglobe.com/Sports/HighSchools/specials/all-scholastics/allscholastics.
