Soccer Clinches Championship
The varsity team ensures yet another top finish in the IGC.
With a decisive 6-1 defeat of Brimmer and May School, the Mavericks continued a tradition of success on the soccer field. Montrose has won the league championship three years in a row and four of the last five years.
Teammates and Maverick fans celebrated not just another championship but also the installation of a new scoreboard overlooking Miracle Field, donated by three anonymous benefactors.
"Congratulations to the girls, and a huge thank you to our generous donors for our beautiful new scoreboard!" said Athletic Director Julie Ruggieri.
