Montrose School has welcomed international students since its inception. Each year several students are accepted to study for a year or a semester. Recently, students have come from Spain, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Venezuela, Italy, France, Germany, Korea, and China. Our current domestic students frequently visit their international classmates in their home countries during summer vacation.
Students who come from abroad live with host families and participate in school activities, sports and family events. They are expected to arrive a week before the start of school and remain until mid-December or until the end of the academic year in June.
Please fill out your online application using Ravenna. The application for international students should be submitted by March 15.
The application includes:

Each international applicant and her parents must complete separate virtual interviews with a member of our admission team using Zoom, Skype or a similar video-messaging system. The interview is an opportunity for the parents and the student to introduce themselves, demonstrate their English-speaking skills, and have any questions about Montrose answered. Please contact the Admissions Office to schedule your interviews.
