3 dedicated athletes commit to compete in college
At a spring all-school Common Home Room gathering, Montrose celebrated three student-athletes who signed letters of commitment to compete at the collegiate level:
Katherine G.: Sacred Heart University NCAA Division I equestrian team
Sarah Q.: Western New England University NCAA Division III soccer and lacrosse teams
Nikki S.: Salve Regina University NCAA Division III field hockey team
“This day is about more than a signature,” said Athletic Director Caroline Langhurst. “It represents years of early mornings, late practices, long bus rides, and the kind of discipline and perseverance that often go unseen. It’s about choosing to keep going when things get difficult – when progress feels slow, when setbacks happen, and when quitting might seem easier. Each of these athletes has made that choice time and time again.”
