Montrose Athletic Director Coaches Irish National Team

Caroline Langhurst is leading the Irish national lacrosse team as they prepare for the European championships in July 2024.
A world-premier athlete and coach, Mrs. Langhurst has served as head coach or assistant coach of the Irish national women's lacrosse team since 2015. In her role, she has led teams competing in both the world and European championship tournaments. Her coaching work has brought her to tournament locations from the Czech Republic to England to Israel.

"Team Ireland has provided me with so many incredible opportunities," said Mrs. Langhurst. "Not only am I able to learn from women of all different backgrounds and cultures, I am also constantly surrounded by some of the very best coaches in the world. Coaching for Team Ireland in World and European Lacrosse events has allowed me to grow as a lacrosse coach, and become a better leader of young women."

The European women's lacrosse championships will take place in Portugal in July 2024.

"Last month at a weekend training camp in Ireland, we selected a very strong national team," Mrs. Langhurst added. "I'm excited for next summer's European championships, where I expect that we have a very good chance to medal. I look forward to bringing this knowledge and experience back to Miracle Field!"
