Summer at Montrose

This summer, Montrose will offer six week-long sessions of enrichment opportunities from June 16 - August 1. Courses are a combination of co-ed and all-girls and are offered for students entering grades 3 and up. All are welcome - bring a friend!

Summer Quick Facts

  • All courses take place on the Montrose campus, 29 North Street in Medfield, unless otherwise noted.
  • Courses are offered for students ranging from grades 3 through 12. 
  • Some courses are all-girls while others are co-ed.
  • Courses are taught by Montrose faculty, staff or alumnae.
  • The cost for each course is listed in the course description.
  • Courses meet from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM or 12:30-3:30 PM. Students who take both morning and afternoon classes will be supervised during the lunch break.

Sign up for a Placement Test Date

Placement Test Dates:
  • Tuesday, May 20 from 3:30 PM
  • Wednesday, May 21 from 3:30 PM
  • Thursday, May 22 from 3:30 PM
Sign up here for one of our three placement test dates located at Montrose School.
 
Girls entering grades 6, 7 and 8 will take a math placement test only. This test will take approximately one hour.

Girls entering grade 9 will take both a math and an English placement test. These tests will take approximately 1.5 hours total. If your daughter is interested in taking Honors Biology, an optional Biology test will take an additional 30 minutes.
 
For girls entering grades 10, 11 and 12, please contact Hannah Stebbins, as recommended placement tests may vary student to student.
 
Upon completing her placement test(s), your daughter can try on uniform samples for sizing.

6TH GRADE VERMONT TRIP

Tuesday, August 5 - Thursday, August 7 

Students and chaperones will stay at Wynnview, a farmhouse in scenic Randolph, Vermont. The days will be spent swimming, playing games, eating family style dinners and hiking the Quechee Gorge. There will be many adventures and opportunities to get to know new friends.

UPPER SCHOOL WELCOME DAY

Wednesday, June 25 (rain date: June 26) 

Rising 9th graders and all new upper school Montrose students are invited to a day of fun and friendship. Join us for an adventure in Boston where we'll enjoy a scavenger hunt along the historic Freedom Trail and dinner in the North End.

All rising Montrose 7th and 8th graders, new and returning, are invited to join us from 3:00-6:30 PM for a fun day of class bonding to meet new classmates, make memories, and get excited for the school year ahead.
