Join us for a seminar with Montrose Head of School Dr. Karen Bohlin: Communicating with your Teenager: Fostering Connections and Commitment in a Culture of Distraction.
Head of Montrose School, Senior Scholar at Boston University's Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character, published author and internationally recognized expert on character development, Dr. Karen Bohlin, will speak to parents about strengthening communication and relationships with their teenagers.

Designed for parents of middle and high school children, Karen Bohlin's presentation will include an hour-long program followed by a half-hour Q&A and discussion about how parents can strengthen relationships and improve communication with their teenage children, providing them with the moral compass they need in a media-saturated, over-programmed and multi-tasking world.

Dr. Karen Bohlin is head of the Montrose School and serves as a senior scholar at Boston University's Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character (CAEC). She is the author of three books and numerous articles on character development. A past guest on National Public Radio's Merrow Report and NBC's Early Show, she has also been interviewed for Parents Magazine, US News and World Report, Reader's Digest, New York Times, Boston Globe, Newsweek, and Ladies Home Journal. Dr. Bohlin has led countless professional development programs for educational leaders both here and in several countries abroad including England, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Japan.

Dr. Bohlin's talk will be held in Montrose School's Founders' Hall at 7 PM. All are welcome to attend.
