Serving and Leading in the DR

16 upper school girls spent spring break caring for the most vulnerable on an impactful service trip to the Dominican Republic with Mustard Seed Communities.
During the trip, Montrose students students weeded, painted, helped distribute food and created a play area at the homes for children in the community. One of the more meaningful elements of the service trip was caring for the disabled residents by helping with their physical therapy, eating meals, and spending fun quality time together.

Honoring the unique dignity of each person and serving the common good lie at the heart of the Montrose School mission. The school actively seeks opportunities for our girls to engage the world through service and leadership.

Montrose is grateful to Mustard Seed Communities for collaborating with us on this life-changing work to make a difference in the lives of others - a truly transformative experience for all involved.
