Varsity Soccer
Varsity soccer had their first WIN Friday against Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall. It was a great game. After trailing 0-2 at halftime, the girls turned the game around and came out with a bang in the 2nd half. Senior Abby Milton scored 4 goals, 2 of which were penalty kicks. Midfielder Hannah Schickel '10 had her first goal of the season, a strong shot from outside the 18. Outstanding play was seen by Coach Keefe by all in the 2nd half. Jenn Robbins '08 played with a lot of aggression, Alice Pottackal '11 played her heart out, and an injured Judith Delvecchio '08 really put the pressure on Chapel Hill's goalie. In a comeback win of the season, Montrose won 5-2.
