Montrose wins first home game of 2014 season
The Montrose Varsity Soccer team won a tough battle against Waring in their first home game of the 2014 season. After leading 2-0 the momentum swung in favor of Waring and the game became tied 2-2. The Montrose girls responded by regaining a 3-2 lead only to give that lead away shortly after to 3-3. The Montrose girls worked hard, stayed focused and regained the lead 4-3 and held on strong to win the game.
