Alumna Performs with the Boston Pops

Molly Cahill '16 wows the sold-out crowd at Boston College's Pops on the Height event September 28.
Selected to perform with the Boston Pops at BC's annual fundraising event, Molly accepted the "cool dream come true" enthusiastically. She  auditioned last spring and ultimately was chosen as the lone soloist from the college. At Friday's concert, Pops conductor Keith Lockhart introduced Molly, who delivered an incredible rendition of two Leonard Bernstein songs from West Side Story, Something's Coming and Somewhere. "It was one of the biggest thrills of my whole life," Molly said afterward. The event also featured singer/songwriter Lionel Richie.
